Welcome to the future. The CRBN TruFoam Genesis 1 Pickleball Paddle, along with the Genesis 2 and 3, mark CRBN’s foray into a true “Gen-4” paddle. What makes these paddles “Gen-4”? The namesake TruFoam core that skips the polypropylene found in most high-end paddles and replaces it with foam. Yup, the entire core structure of this paddle is constructed of a high-density foam. This foam system creates a controllable and soft feeling paddle that doesn’t skimp on rebound or pop regardless of thickness, allowing CRBN to really dial in the feel, balance, sweet spot and plow through of these paddles without worrying about core crush, core thickness, or break in periods.

The 16.5” CRBN 1 TF Genesis Pickleball Paddle is more powerful than the X-Series but is more focused on helping us to improve every aspect of our game. We think this explanation is accurate, especially after we found out how the TruFoam core and 7.35” wide T700 Raw Carbon hitting surface team up to mimic the dynamics of a tennis racquet, allowing us to impart more spin than ever before, hit precise controlled shots, and keep our dinks low.
